Sabr

Sabr

In testing on Google Play

Quit one habit. Build another. One line a day.

Sabr gives every habit a single ink line, and each day adds one piece to it. The line is the whole record: how long you have kept at it, and the days you missed.

Build a habit

For a habit you are building, like reading or a walk, swipe along today's piece of the line to mark it done. Set how much counts, and the line comes out thicker on the big days. The days you don't choose are days off, and they never count against you.

Quit a habit

For a habit you are quitting, the line grows by itself through the day, as long as you stay off it. You choose when your day ends; at that time the day closes, and a day with no slip is kept.

When a craving comes, hold

Press and hold. Breathe in and out while a pool of ink spreads, and a craving held all the way through leaves a small dot on the line. Letting go early is fine.

A missed day is not the end

Slipped, or missed a day? A small orange dot marks it, and the line carries on tomorrow. Nothing before it is lost.

Still, the heron

Still waits at the end of today's line. When you mark a day done he flies on to tomorrow and waits there, and on a quitting line he walks along as the day fills in.

Kept on your phone

No account, no sign-up and nothing to sync. Your habit names, your daily amounts, your missed days, your holds and your settings are stored on your phone, not on our servers. Two copies can leave it, both yours: Settings can save your page as a CSV file, through Android's own share sheet, to wherever you send it, and if your phone's own backup is switched on, Android includes Sabr in it. The details are in the privacy policy.

On your home screen

An optional widget shows today's lines, and one press on the small one goes straight into Hold.
